    Default American Kestrel

A few weeks ago, I spent some quality time with Ned Harris at his Kestrel site.
Here's one of the images from our session. Thanks for looking...tom

Great light, setting and details. I might add a tad more space at the right side and run NR on the BG. A lower angle would have been great but I'm sure that was not in the cards. Did you bait the bird or is the blood from his last 'meal'?

    Great composition and exposure Tom,
The perch compliments your bird. Head angle is good showing sharp details, and the baby blue sky wraps the whole image and mood very nicely..congrats...

Got to love the eye contact and the perch. Wish he was more eye level with you.

Wonderful composition and particularly like the perch and great eye contact. I too would like to see a little more room to the right . Many thanks for sharing Thomas.
