Hi Karl,

The foreground color, texture and reflection of this shot totally rocks! Love it! True this is an uncommon water color. I think you did great with judging saturation level. The autumn colors come through, but do not slap me in the face ;)

Composition-wise, I wish the reflection of the head was complete with a little clearance. But because the foreground texture distorts the reflection so nicely, that is really not such a big issue.

I noticed what appears to be a processing smudge in the water, about at head level, about 60% of the way towards the tip of the tail.

I was shooting ducks in such water yesterday. It was quite challenging to get the right exposure, and the right light on the bird. You did much better than I with this one :)
