This is one from Saturday, when I visited Cairngorm. Unfortunately it wasn't the best day for light. And, these flighty little guys were hard to find.

I like the sharp head, feather detail, BG and composition. Having both eyes visible is a big plus. Well done under challenging conditions William!

That head angle provided a very nice view of the crest! Neat! I like everything except the pale part of the BG touching the bird's far wing. Did you need to lighten the eye to our right?
