Cool Skimmer shot! The whites are a tad hot, but the pose is awesome and the detail in the blacks is great. Probably the sun made it either that you expose for the blacks or whites, rather then being able to do for both because of the dynamic range.

Perfect banking pose Sid with a great HA and beautiful details. The exposure looks perfect and is exactly how I would try to expose myself.
The whites look clean and white, but not fried as evident by seeing all the webbing and detail in the white of the secondaries.
This exposure has also given the blacks even better detail and has made for a real sweet capture. Wish she hadn't tiped that primary :)

Beautiful topside shot. Great head turn. Good comp.Tack sharp.
I wonder if you could tone down the bill a bit to let the reds come through.
If only the primary wasn't missing although there is nothing you could do about that!!If you have the PP skills you could always repair it.

Great techs and a fantastic pose. Only wish the plumage was in a little better shape.

Thank you folks for viewing and commenting.

I too did wish for better plumage. It didn't bug me enough to elect cosmetic surgery though. I'm fine with nature's 'imperfections'.

Hi Sid, you have absolutely nailed this in all aspects. Firstly, the flight pose is really dynamic, and with good eye contact too. Perfect exposure and sharpness, and I do like the colour of the water. I wouldnt stress about nature's imperfections either. Very well captured.
