Some better bird photos to come, but as I was going through the landscape pics I found this shot, and I quickly edited it. The compo was a bit difficult but I settled on this, always tough with all the different branches, easier with man made objects because of our affinity for symmetry. Anyhow, more things to come. (Oh and the name is because they are really immense, hard to see here, but they are about three times bigger then East Coast crows)

Very nice and artistic. I like the barren branches and b&w gives it a nice stark look. I think your comp choice works nicely. Very well done.

Very Artistic Dvir. Certainly the correct bird for this setting. I like the touch of light on the tree. The comp works well for me also.

The thumbnail doesn't do this justice.
My initial feeling when I looked at the thumbnail was that I wasn't going to like it but when I opened it, I thought wow!
The comp is perfect. I like the bit of tree that is not completely in shadow. Adds a nice depth to the image.
I would clone out the tiny little bit of branch at the edge on RHS 1/3 of the way up.
    Nice one Dvir!

    Hello Dvir,

I like the steely, cold appearance of this frame, but especially its simplicity. Like Robert said above, the right subject for the setting, in other words: a perfect fit. I also like that tiny bit of detail on the tree trunk - good thinking

A bit of "gardening" might take this over the top, but it's all up to you.

Very arty and a bit like a painter's work. Love those naked branches and the "energy" they bring to the frame, also the alert Raven...I get the feeling she or he might leave the scene any moment:)

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
