    OK, so it's not one of the most classic flight positions, nor the most exotic of species. But I love the way the camera can capture a variety of flight positions, some more elegant than others.

    D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 2000, 1/2500s @ f/7.1 manual.

    Nice overall Bill but the duck could have a little more saturation IMO.

    Looks good to me Bill. Like the detail in the BG too Much prefer it to a plain one which seems to be the norm.

    Nice shot that helps also showcase the environment and landing pose. Agree that a tad more saturation, just in the greens and blues not yellows, could be used/

    What I like best about this shot is the excellent separation of the bird against the BG.
    On my monitor the saturation looks good.
    Tack sharp and excellent IQ.

    Lovely image, Bill. As Gail said, the separation from the background really makes the duck stand out. Perfect colors for the Mallards I see here. Thank you for sharing.
