    We were about to leave as it was getting late for photography.
    Packed up and then decided to check the Bay side of the place when I found this bird having its lunch.
    A ran back to the car to get my camera and told my wife to grab her camera and follow me.

    I know the light is harsh and the perch and the shooting angle is far from perfect
    but this bird is rarely seen and is almost always high up.
    Given the fact that I took picture of this species only three times in my life, I'm still happy
    that I got a shot at all.

    Great natural history shot Karl.
    I wonder what the prey is?
    Would be very happy to photograph this action and have this in my files.
    IQ looks good. The dangling foot and feathers in the mouth add some poignancy to the image.
    I might consider warming the image up a little bit as that would help soften the light,
