Not the classically desired head angle bit it works because of the whole rainy scene and the feeling of looking into the distance.

Great mood with the rain and the gray tones of the image and I like the pensive look of the bird. This is a classic case in my opinion of where a broken rule (Head angle) works very well.

Sometimes get a it confused with the head angle thing, cracking little bird in a nice pose, love the conditions you photographed this in, very nice indeed.

Good details, background, perch, and inclement weather adding some mood. If mine I would remove the two faint oof rain drops touching the bill just to make for a cleaner finish around there.
