Hi William, love the frame, BG and details. Well done BIF capture. If mine I would try to process a bit the shadow on the right wing and add some mid contrast. TFS.

    Cheers,

Hi Will, great to see this species being posted, quite underrated, but really nice to see in flight, I also like the setting, very different from a park LOL .

I agree that adding some contrast into the image would help, keep it simple, add a Linear contrast in Curves and perhaps a slight tweak in Selective colour (neutrals & blacks) just gives the image more 'depth'. Going to ISO1600 would be better and very little change in IQ, especially with the 5. Any signs of Whoopers?

Lovely image, Will. I agree with the previous comments. I have never seen a Swan in flight, thank you for sharing.

The swan looks great, with good details. The semi-panoish comp works really well. I do prefer the darker midtones of the repost, but the trees in the BG would be best if also darkened IMO. They tens to pull the eye towards them.

Hi Will, its always great to capture a subject thats not often seen in flight - well done. I quite like the row of vertical trees in the BG, and I also prefer your repost in pane #6 .
