    Default Eastern Phoebe

There was a large flight along the coast last night with northwest winds bringing in many birds of just a few species. Pheobes were plentiful and I was happy to add a few images of them to my collection. Hope that you enjoy this simple presentation.

Simple works for me. What a sweet shot of this Phoebe. Nice light and background. Could also work nicely as a vertical, of course, but I think this is better.

Very sweet and minimalist. There are a number of ways one could frame it, including the vertical already suggested. I might have gone even more horizontal with more room to the right, that being my personal quirk right now, but this is wonderful as composed.

Thanks, BPN friends. Of course I did shoot this vertical as well. Nice when a bird offers the chance for some variety of compositions.

Wonderfully clean, softly lit image, Grace. Could not ask for a better, complimentary BG. Love the subtle feather tones.

Phoebes are so photogenic! Your photo captures that quality very well. The perch and background are just perfect. I like that you kept the bird small in the frame. Very well done Grace :)

Very nice pose with a great perch and a nice BG. I think this might work better in a vert.
