Default sunset on the wall ....Little owl

A full week and a lot of hours (in between work as I do work full time ) I finally got the bird on the wall at sunset ,this shot was literally seconds before the sun disappeared , a beautiful site when I was viewing through the viewfinder ,its a shot I always feel really pleased with myself with when I see the bird at sunset just soaking in the last rays of sun ,i have thousands of images of the little owl in all conditions and apart from my snow shots of the bird the owl at sunset are shots i have always aimed for ,no bait whatsoever was used to get this shot just a bit of field craft and confidence that i would eventually get the bird were i wanted him......Canon 1d mkiv 300mm F4 at 5.6 iso 400 1/400 sec Name: Little-owl-at-sunset-(1-of-1)-5amd.jpg

Lovely light and background, and I like the head turn. I enjoy your series.
