Hi Haseeb - A tender moment and beautiful light. Interesting with that kind of light that you needed that much ISO to get the ss. The jackals look a bit oversharpened to me. Also looking at the tree in the bg, I think a slight amount of ccw rotation is needed. Easy fixes.

    TFS,
    Rachel

I prefer the repost, I like the interaction and the composition. I may consider lowering the brightest highlights a bit.

Love the tender moment you've captured here Haseeb, great subject isolation and beautiful colour in that BG really add to this. I like your RP as well.

Hi Haseeb super image with a sweet lovely behavior captured .
Love the overall sweet light and the crop you have chosen . Nice warm colors and good details . RP works better from the sharpening POV .
I agree with Jon regarding the HL in the jackals , i do think though the whole image can stand a bit more tonal depth and with the tonal depth there is also some more color density coming . I would expect deeper 1/2 and 3/4 tones by the given light situation , but as always i sit here and look at the edited image and have not been with you in the field !!

    Just a thought .

Nice work , Haseeb TFS Andreas

    Beautiful image Haseeb,

    Love those two grooming!

Don't know how I missed this and I am sorry to come in so late, just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed viewing. Love the colours, warmth, composition, as well as that rich BG - the light must have been so beautiful!

Nice techs and good thinking there with high ISO and F4 to obtain as much SS as possible

This is one of your sweetest posts, something so special about the moment you captured, the setting makes me think of a picture in a story book. One of those frames I will not easily forget - thank you so much for sharing!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Haseeb, 5D now, cool, no problem pushing that ISO, go for it.

For me I prefer the OP as it has some more depth to it and a nice perspective too. I think 6400 would have been better and no issue for tho body, f/5.6 and let the SS rise, the slight movement or better 'clarity' on the LH jackets nose may have been been better??? The rich, vibrant colours of the environment are nice and provides punch. Just remember that NR reduces detail too, higher ISO need to a balancing act as I have said before, so what you do with one hand will effect the other. You need to think with Adjustment layers too.

    Steve

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and kind words , really appreciate it !

@ Steve : the NR in this case is applied selectively to rest of the frame excluding the two jackals .
