    Default Killdeer in flight

This frame is from San Francisco, I was watching (and shooting) an airshow when I saw a few killdeers and grabbed a few frames. Killdeer in flight isn't an easy frame to pull off in low light, but the 400 DO II did well.

Killdeer is best shown in flight. Nice down wing pose perfect shooting angle, Arash.

Nice one! Love the full downstroke of the wings and the trailing feet.

I agree with Karl. Killdeer have such great looking wings! This shot shows them off. Great background too. On my screen a little more prominence of the eye reflection would be nice.

    Thanks for posting this Arash,
    Ross

Hi Arash - Great flight shot in all respects. I can see why you like the 400 DO. I am seeing some green in the underwing shadow.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Thanks everyone for comments. There was no sun in the sky (foggy) and thus no catchlight or shadows. The green is from light reflected from grass
