    Thought I would try something a bit different.
    Canon 1DX
    100-400MM with 1.4 x
    ISO 400 f 6.3 SS 1/1600
    Full frame cropped to pano
    Minimal PP- crop, NR to BG, usual LR5 sliders, levels and DE at 1% to bird only, USM to JPEG. Cloned out 1 specular highlight behind the bird.

    Hi Gail,

    This is a wonderfully creative shot! I really like the foam at the water edge.

    The composition really works for me, considering the foam moves in on the right side.

    This photo has it all. Thanks for sharing such inspiring shots, Gail!

    Nice change of pace. Given the way these little ones run, the space seems very appropriate.

    Nice low angle shooting, the bird looks good in its breeding plumage and the foam is a good addition to the frame especially on the far right, Gail.

    I like it. It shows the Sanderling's normal feeding habit and habitat. Always good to try something a bit different.

    I love the crop. It brings so much life to the bird. The POV perfect. Beautiful colours and light.

    Hi Gail, excellent low shooting angle, and I really like the light in this. Overall well exposed, sharp, and I do like the feeding pose. Your pano crop works well.
