Nice looking back pose and nice natural perch, Jeff.

Beautiful sparrow image, Geoffrey. Perfect head-turn, and nice bg. I could imagine a version with just a bit off the bottom and corresponding amount added to the top, but a lovely image as posted.

Bird and the environment shown are top-notch.
I would take some off the bottom ( to the 5 in 2015 of your signature) and add a bit to the top as Bill suggests. This would reduce the "heaviness" at the bottom of the frame.

I kinda like the comp as is, but I do wish the oof FG stuff was not there at the bottom. Good head turn, very interesting foliage below the bird. I'd be tempted the blend away the two vertical lines in front of the bill for a cleaner BG up there.

Hi Geoff, good angled pose, and I really like the light and detail on the Sparrow. Great that he is posed against the clean part of the BG. I agree that the lower part of the FG is a tad unfortunate, but cropping up from the bottom, and taking a bit off both sides will still leave you with a decent vertical.

Thanks everyone. I agree with your cropping suggestions, and Daniel clearing the oof stuff good idea.
