Collared Sparrowhawks
These guys produced 2 offspring 3 years ago in my neighbours giant pine tree. Luckily we are off again, and I was lucky to catch them very early in the morning last week starting the whole thing again. I quite like the fact that the whole story is in the picture including the tail feathers of the prey. . He as usual caught the prey plucked it and ate a bit and then called her from the nest and this action then happened on a tree in our garden so the southern spring looks good for some more fun. No leaves removed.I could have had more DOF but I was trying to get rid of any background. Grateful for any comments.

The sparrowhawks look very good nicely caught and sharp, but I think the sky is way to bright and possibly has a cast, maybe just reducing exposure on the sky would help.

Well done on capturing this behaviour. The bright background may need a little toning down to exhibit the birds better. A little selective sharpening on the birds would lift this image even more.
