I think this is a first year Laughing Gull, I struggle identifying immature gulls. If I am wrong please correct me. I captured this image from the City Pier on Anna Maria Island, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Good flight shot, Joe, with good calling pose. Nice and sharp. Well-lit underwings (reflected sandy beach??). I would agree with your ID, but I'm also challenged when it comes to young gulls. Like the hint of clouds in the sky.

This is gorgeous! Sharp details, great tonalities, wonderful pose, and the clouds are a great touch. I wouldn't change a thing.

Looking good! Really like the backlit trailing edges on the wings.

Excellent pose and the hint of clouds is pretty neat. The only thing I would do here is remove the greenish cast under the wing and belly (the sponge tool used judiciously should work well here). Was this gull after bread?

Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting. Very much appreciated...

Daniel, no bread. The gulls, terns, and pelicans hang out around the fishing piers. This one was holding it's position into the wind.
