Default Little owl on the run

One of my favourite images of the Female little owl from a brilliant session tonight ,totally unexpected after setting up with just a hour of daylight available, I say unexpected as the male is normally the first to appear but he had to take a back seat as the female was in a very active mood ....taken hand held from inside a portable hide with a1 D MKIV 300mm F4at f5.6 iso 800 1/1600 sec Name: bpn-little-owl.jpg

Perfect pose...just wish for the slightest angle toward us. Would clone the specs. Did you hit that raised feather on his back with the clone stamp? Looks fuzzy.

Entertaining image that is for sure! Super BG. Again I agree with Grace (a wee bit more angling towards us). I can see why this is a favorite of yours from the session :-)

Pleasing image, a head turn more towards us would have taken it over the top. Thank you for sharing, Dennis.
