Hi Sanjeev -- Nice details and sharpness , you have handled the light quite well . I see a bit of magenta on the warthog especially on its face , but that could be me as i am not actually familiar with its colours. Also the whites projecting out as part of its mane looks a bit blownout , should be an easy fix for you. TFS !

Hello Sanjeev,
Lovely surprised pose, it looks as if this fellow stopped in its tracks to take a good look at you:)
Hmm...not sure you needed such high ISO this time, I see your SS was 1/4000s, LOL. Did you have to blur/soften the BG at all?
Although I like this character a lot, there's something that bothers me a tad here, Sanjeev: the R front limb, which abruptly disappears into the grass, as if amputated. Not your fault of course, but it affects the way I feel about the image, the overall impression, if you know what I mean. Sorry, you have spoilt us with so many stunners lately, I have become picky now:) Let us see what the others say, colours look ok to me and those areas that seem to lean towards magenta could be dried up mud the warthog might have been wallowing in earlier in the day.
I am busy looking through images posted over the past two weeks while I was away, hope to stumble upon more images from your last trip:)
Kind regards,

Hi Sanjeev - Looks like the light was rather harsh. I am fine with the colors as is. I do agree with Gabriela about the right front leg. It does look kind of weird but it is what it is. Placement in frame works well for me. It's always nice to see an under-represented species on the forum.
TFS,

Hi Sanjeev, I think the techs look a bit high and the image doesn't quite convey the detail & sharpness you have had in past images. The subject I find also sits a little awkward within the overall composition too. The front leg is unfortunate, but you can't help the grass
.
