Hi Andreas - A very nice walrus shot with a good look at tusks, whiskers and eye. Colors look spot on and the pov works well.

    TFS,

Great detail showing off the texture, barnacles, whiskers and more. I especially like the pose and that red eye direct contact.

    TFS, Andreas!

    Hello Andreas,

Never realised this species have such red eyes

Wonderful capture, love the pose, colours, textures on the skin and detail on tusks.

Great HA, well composed and presented...stunning work Andreas, one wouldn't say this was taken with older equipment...

    Have a wonderful Sunday:)

Hi Andreas, hard to get a good shot of these guys and with 100m exclusion zone long lenses are paramount. The eye looks a bit over cooked to me and rather prominent????

Thanks folks , for your kind comments as always very much appreciated .
Well the eye ...... mmmmhhh i did work a bit on the eye by dodging it and giving it a slight extra kick with HP filter and blend mode set to vivid light at 40 % , after your comments i was thinking maybe it is a bit too strong or overcooked as Steve say , i think soft light would have been better after a 2nd and 3rd look .

Thanks again for your thoughts .
    Cheers Andreas
