Here is another in my series of those weedy, but brilliantly yellow roadside flowers. Used a filter from Perfect Effects 9, Topaz impression, and added hand painted details.

Like Anita, I will also be traveling for the next 3 weeks. I leave Saturday. I'm going to visit family in Cape Town (the grand daughters are growing up!) and then photograph the wilds of South Africa.

I'm going to miss these wonderful yellow-mystery-flower images, but I hope you have a great trip.

Hi, Nancy, I love these flowers - we have them in Florida. They usually bloom in late September/November. And I especially love your treatment of them. I hope you have a wonderful visit with your family and bring back lots of good images.

Nancy, Great looking painterly (and I guess actual painting). Have a great trip.

    Cheers,

Print this huge and hang it on your wall. (And put a copy in a gallery!) It's gorgeous!
