    Default Pronghorn Doe

I recently spent some time on the Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge in remote northern Nevada. Lots of Pronghorn antelope to see and photograph. Got this pretty doe with a classic over the shoulder look.

Hi Alison - I like the lookback pose. The image feels a little dark and slightly underexposed to me. I took it into PS and did a simple levels adjustment bringing the right hand slider in to just before the whites clipped at about 241 and opened up the midtones slightly by moving the middle slider to 1.08. Finally, I cropped a little from the right and top just to move the pronghorn a little more off-center. WDYT?

    TFS,
    Rachel

Hi Rachel, I think your rework looks much better. I like it a bit lighter and the crop. Thanks so much for taking the time to look and for the critique!

Hi Alison , nice look back pose of the Pronghorn .
I like the overall colors and the comp . Rachelīs RP is taking it up a notch , but i think the eyes are still black holes and need to be lifted in post .

Hi Allison, I also like the look-back pose and Rachel's rp enhances the detail and image quality you captured here. Thanks for posting this as I've not seen a Pronghorn before.

    Cheers,

    Katie
