    Taken yesterday. I'm enjoying shooting in manual mode.. no more av mode for me.. makes it easier to get lower iso too..

    Post Production: slight crop for comp.. lowered some clarity and sharpness on some of the green areas.. used clone stamp, and tweeked exposure and and sharpened resized file..

    Good move on AV to manual. Done the same 4-5 years ago and never looked back. Nice in habitat shot of this raptor.

    Well done to get so close to a raptor. Raptor looks great and perfect head turn.
    This is one situation when it would have been a bit better to be a bit higher. I find the grasses a bit overwhelming.
    I find myself wanting you to include more of the virtual feet but that would increase the amount of FG grasses. A higher POV might have helped.
    Another option would be to go vertical.
