    There was something almost melancholy about this little endangered species alone on the beach at last light that made me want to keep him small in the frame.

    D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 800, 1/1000s @ f/6.3 manual.

    A Plover at golden hour ... Love it Bill!

    I really like your choice to show the bird smaller than typical in the frame. It is a small bird after all!

    I can not suggest anything that would improve the shot. This is very nice work Bill. Thanks for sharing it.

    This is lovely Bill.
    Love the forlorn feeling that you have evoked.
    Light is beautiful and the nice clean sand is very nice.
    My only suggestion for image improvement would be that the bill was completely visualized.
    I like the off center comp and could also see a version with a bit off the RHS.
