    Default Green Heron.

This is a case when even a 500 lens is way to big with a 1.3 crop camera.
    Shot vertical, full frame.
I wished at least I should have got the full frame camera for a better frame.
Did some cleaning behind the bird's back.
    Pun is not intended.
    Thanks for looking.

A lovely shot, Karl. Yes, a bit more room would have been ideal, but very nice as is.

    Nice look at the heron.
    Nice color palette.
Just wish those reeds were not so prominent.
You have captured the green of the heron beautifully,
    Gail

Beautiful colors and details Karl. Love the long neck pose and the nice eye contact. I too wish for more rooming the front but still keeper for sure. Well done
