    Have not had many opprotunities to see these birds in flight but last week I had the chance to photograph this one has he flew by quite close to me. In fact almost two close !!

    Nikon D3
    Nikon 600mm F4
    ISO 320
    1/800, F9

    Nice light and nice angle on the bird Judy. I like it when you can see thier top sides in a flight shot.

    A breathtaking image. I'm not recalling any images that I've seen where there is this much detail top-side.

    I love this image too Judy. I am still in awe of people who can capture flying birds with one of the long super-teles. I haven't managed it yet. So far, getting the bird into the frame has been almost impossible for me, let alone actually making a capture.

    Wow, and wow :eek: excellent all around Judy, the light, the BG the banking pose and sharpness made this one a terrific image. Thanks for sharing and big congratulations :)

    Great light, details and topside view. There are a view artifacts around near the edges of the bird.
