One fine morning in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve we happen to come across this fine lady , the sub adult female of the Rajbehra litter sitting right in the middle of the road . Being our only sighting of the trip as (those were the difficult days at Bandhavgarh in terms of Tiger sighting) , we decided to keep a safe distance and hence achieved this environmental shot, but nothing can be done of the tyre marks :( !
Canon 1D MK IV , Canon 300mm f 2.8 IS II , Bean Bag from vehicle.

Hi Haseeb - I quite like the wide view here and the colors look much better here. If it were mine I would crop slightly from right and left to eliminate the twig sticking in on the lhs just above the tiger and the rocks/leaves on the rhs also level with the tiger.
Lots of details come together to make this a very nice image. The tiger alert & looking up intently immediately catches the eye of the viewer. The lovely glow of light filtering down though the trees adds a nice soft glow to the image. The nicely blurred bkgd of vertical tree trunks also takes your eye up with the tiger. I like that the immediate foreground is blurred, reducing the impact of the road. A tiger is always exciting!
A lovely image of the tiger looking up to the heavens for help I guess! They can do with some supernatural help from above!! Nice details and sharpness. TFS.
Dear Hasseb, what grabs me here in the first place is your passion about this majestic beast - I truly understand and appreciate it.
I love the way your tiger is looking up for some "heavenly mercy", perhaps this is what it would take to save them, my friend. With humans not just hunting so many endangered species but also having taken over so much of the space they need, there is so little hope to save them.
I am deeply touched by your interpretation of this scene and tempted to leave all techs aside, a few points raised by Rachel above and I agree with her entirely, it would also make things more dramatic if you cropped a tad further and went for a "vertical" look to the entire frame.
So I leave you with these thoughts... love this, I think it is wonderful and miraculous that one can still capture the Tiger in its environment, keep those coming please, what a pleasure to view:)
This works so well for me! There's something about this (very) vertical composition that makes me look straight "up there", I am suddenly not just looking at the tiger but I am "with the tiger". And yes, to me this is so heavenly and sweet and almost religious, I am with you here and I fully understand why you chose this title, my friend. Beautiful!
Hi Haseeb absolutely a great frame and title , love the look up of the Tiger .
I am 100 % with Gabriela and her view .
Nice job .
I played a bit with your frame ......... i went a bit overboard but you might get my idea , basically i reduced the oranges in the tiger and i darkened the darks ( but masked out the tiger )
