One of my nemesis birds. And I thought I had missed one yet again a few evenings ago, as I have many times. I saw her coursing over the fields in the distance, and then lost her. As I was scanning the fields to the east, she somehow had circled around and sneaked up behind me from the west. She was going past me by the time I saw her. But then she banked and gave me a nice dorsal look for just a few frames. Large crop, but it'll have to do until I get a closer look.

In a way it is my nemesis bird too.
When I had a chance, my lens was too big.
At an other time, my lens was way too small.
I still have some shots though.
Excellent dorsal banking pose with a hint of eyes showing, Bill.

Bill, love it, great dorsal pose, great colors and BG. I could see the impact of the large crop - not bough details on the head, but like you said, it'll do for now and you can wait for a more close up. My nemesis bird too. Loi

Well done on getting the banking pose, one may wish for a little more eye contact to make it really pop.

Nice banking flight image. If the bird would have just raised it's head that would have taken it over the top. Thank you for sharing, Bill.

Excellent Bill, I really like the dorsal view and the way the tail is displayed.
