    Early morning shot of a Whistling kite soaring over a cliff overlooking the Murray river in South Australia. Canon EOS 7D Mark II, EF600mm f/4L IS II USM +1.4x III, 1/2500, f8.0, ISO 1000, EC +1, handheld. PP - small crop, resize and sharpened in CS6.

    Hi Gerhard, I like the wing position, with the curled primaries, and how the light is cast on the head of the kite. Overall, nice and sharp, and great that we can see a hint of cloud in the sky BG. Well captured.

    I like Stu's commentary, agree.
    The body looks strange to me, kind of flattened out, which is not your fault, just looks odd. Normally,
    these guys don't have that turtle look of the belly.
    Nice POV and light as mentioned.
