I like the scene you captured and the contrast between the warm and cool colors. If it were mine, I'd crop some from the right and from the bottom so the sun (and its reflection) and the horizon don't bisect the image horizontally and vertically. When I tried that, it made me appreciate the sky even more.

Hi, Mitch, what a lovely scene to wake up to! What is creating the wake in the middle close to the horizon?

I like the flow of water and land from lower left to middle right. I, too, am bothered by the bright, centered sun.

Mitch, do you live right on the water? Dennis has a really good suggestion to alter the positions of the horizon and the center-ness of the suns. Wonderful soft early morning colors with a bit of mist.

I think that is a seagull leaving the wake.

Thanks Dennis, Cheryl, Anita & Nancy.

I think Dennis is right, so I stated to make some changes to the centered image. In doing so, I could not resist adding a morning flight taken at the same location. Lighting is a bit off, but perhaps OK for OOTB ???

I like the addition of the birds a lot, but I keep looking for their reflection in the water. But perhaps that is unrealistic given the relative location of the birds and the sun.
