A flight of fancy I love the colors and the simplify effect on the branch. I'm not sure about the tan shape to the right of the bird. Maybe smaller and lighter?

Love the brilliant bird--colors, processing, attitude. The rest of the image looks flat to me, in contrast to the glowing bird, making the bird seem out of place, or rather, the branch and background out of place.

The upward pose and those glowing fanciful colors on the bird are great! The swirls in the colors add to the feeling of motion. I would totally remove the tan blob and see how it looks with a vertical crop.

I like the processing of the bird, especially the colors. I find the branches distracting...perhaps because, as Anita said, that part of the image is a little flat. The vertical crop that Nancy suggests may keep the focus on the bird.
