    Default Bald Eagle in Snowstorm

It's been a long absence from BPN, but I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things! Lots of images to share. I photographed this Bald Eagle in Alaska several years ago during Alan Murphy's fantastic workshop. I got thousands of flight shots on sky and water BGs, but very few during snowstorms and against rocky cliff BGs. The environment really makes this frame for me.

I agree...environment makes this shot as we've all been bored to death with a million EIF shots but this one is worth sharing for sure....great frame...no complaints from me....

Love the determined look and the crescent shape of the wings -- a winner, in my book! (Oh, yeah -- the environment isn't bad, either!)

The snowfall really adds a dramatic flair to the image. Super nice. The arching wing positions are not bad either....

This looks awesome Doug. The snowfall really adds to the overall scene and the tack sharp eagle sticks out of the snow beautifully. Nice work. Look forward to seeing some more stuff soon.

Hi Doug, I like the dorsal view here, together with the slight head turn. Well exposed, and this is certainly different showing the snowy conditions - it works for me.

Not really sure where to start with this one - it has everything perfect for me. Great flight shot on its own with the wings and the head angle and the eye level, but the snow takes it waaay over the top!

Hi Doug - Great wingspan and dorsal view. The dark bg and snowstorm lend a dramatic feel to the image. Well done.
