Beautiful breeding plumage bird resting at Plymouth Long Beach on it's springtime northbound migration.

    Nikon D300, 500 AFS~VR and TC14EII. ISO 400, UniWB preset, f8 center weigher metering, +.7 EV compensation.

Great breeding plumage and angle. I'm wondering what it would look like if the bird were further left in the frame.

    Default Interesting Idea Axel

This was one of those which was hard to place optimally, so I decided that sort of centered was it...but I will try it with your suggestions later on this evening.

    Thanks

Stunning coloring and details, Jim. Another vote for placing the bird on the left, since he;s looking right.

Cute pose and stunning detail and lighting. I too vote for moving it slightly to the left. Fine capture Jim !

Maybe cropped to portrait orientation? Sweet plumage to say the least, Jim.

Great plumage and nice peekaboo look. Another vote for moving the bird left in the frame.
