    Default Foster's tern

A basic tern in flight image. But when I recently tried these speedsters, I hadn't photographed BIF in 1.5 years, and never with this lens. They gave me a much needed workout for sure :)
A hasty processing job on an uncalibrated monitor. But I didn't change any color, WB etc. The colors are as photographed.

    Manual, HH

    All feedback appreciated
    Thanks

Yep, perhaps a tad large in the frame, but you did well with the exposure and details. I like the small water drops on the wings.

Sweet details, and colors. BG looks like it is on the verge of posturizing in places and I'd try to make it smoother.

Love the light in this image. Tack sharp.
I like your comp and am sure a looser crop would be just as is.
Great BG colors and I agree with Grace about the posterization- just use the gaussian blur tool lightly.

Hi Sid, excellent flight pose, well exposed on those whites, and that sure is a magical BG with regards to the colours.

Seems like it didnt take you long to master the lens.

Great looking capture Sid. A nice pose along with a good look at those red feet with great feather details and a sweet BG make this one a real keeper in my book. BG is an easy fix. Well done.
