I captured this image of a Laughing Gull with a Puffer Fish at the north lagoon in Ft. Desoto Park, Pinellas County, Florida. When working up the image I saw that the fish was a Puffer Fish and wondered about the gull knowing that Puffer Fish can be toxic. I researched the Puffer Fish of Florida and discovered that the species around Ft. Desoto most likely are not toxic while the Puffer Fish in the Florida Keys are very toxic. So I guess the gull was not harmed by it's fish. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.
