    Here's a shot of a couple of mating Kingfishers. I have been hoping to get a shot of mating Kingfishers for a long time and yesterday i finally got a (2 seconds) chance..!

    Great light, details and capture of this moment. There is some banding in the BG.

    Tough enough to get one , but two mating is a big bonus. Great color , detail and behavior.

    Very nice indeed! The wing blur is great, as is the perch and the complimentary BG.

    I've been missing your work, Jeroen! Outstanding image! Love the action / interaction... Just a bit of banding in the BG as Axel mentioned, but doesn't take away from the intimacy of this image. Really love the colors and the blurred wings!!

    Very nicely done. Our Kingfishers here in So.Cal never sit still long enough for a decent capture. Great image here with beautiful colors.

    absolute stunner this one. right amount of blurr in wings keeping the rest sharp. lovely angle & most importantly, u have captured a rare intimate moment in KFs' lives !
