    Mitch, I like the colors and the action in this image. I wondered if the thin white line around the sail was part of the sail, or an artifact?

    Wendy,

    Thanks for your comments. The white line around the Spinnaker is a tape sewn on, and is natural. If, however, it is distracting, should I get rid of it?

    Mitch, you can really put together very dramatic boat images with equally dramatic skies! I like the little details of the people on the boat and especially the one looking up at the full sail.

    Mitch, I don't think it's distracting...I was just concerned that it might be a sharpening artifact, but since it's part of the spinnaker, I think you can keep it as is.

    The color and composition are both very nice, and the darker tones on the right not only add to the drama but serve effectively as a stopper.
