    Default Screaming Cisticola

An Australian beauty of a bird. This one was calling from one of his preferred perches last spring (northern autumn). Very territorial birds, these Cisticolas will use the same perches over and over again, flying back and forth advertising their availablility to potential mates. Very cute birds with attitude. I was actually sittin in the swamp.

30D, 300/4L IS with 1.4x cropped to about 75% of original.

Great setting, soft light and calling pose. I might sharpen the bird a tad more.

Interesting composition and pose, both of which work for me. I would like to see the bird a little sharper also. Thanks for posting.

Like this a lot Akos. A very unique pose and a very pleasing composition. I agree a little more sharpening would strengthen this image . Thanks for sharing.
