    Just liked the look of this hummer with the eyes closed for a different perspective and wings nicely spread.
    Ocotillo bloom added in PS from a transparency extraction. Hope that doesn't offend.

    Great pose and interesting mood due to the closed eye. I don't mind the included flower although it is maybe a bit dominant. I'm interested what other people think. Maybe a wider crop and less clipping of the flower.

    Very nice bird! The eye being closed is interesting and different. But, I crave eye contact! Also, the bird is much sharper than the flower blossoms that it seems to be attempting to feed on. I would like to see the flower either much sharper or much more OOF.

    The colors are outstanding and the wing position is great. I can live with the flowers not quite as sharp but I really want that eye open.

    Hi Tom,
    I like the capture, but for my taste, I like an open eye...:D I suggest on desaturating the orange hues in the background because it competes with the hommer's flowers...:cool:
