Default theme: Aspen reflections in the abstract

This started as a glorious golden reflection of fall aspen in a very still lake in Alaska last September. I used an On one perfect effects filter, a smart photo editor filter and topaz impressions, all a various opacities. Then I flipped the image vertically and duplicated it horizontally. Added a layer of fractalius. Lots of PS adjustments & painting along the way.

A most pleasing abstract. I love the rich, warm colors. The flipping/duplication works to create a nice balance. The darker band across the bottom grounds the image. I like t his a lot. Excellent work.

    Nancy,

Greetings. Beautiful image, Nancy. I'm wondering what it would look like a little brighter in tone. I didn't think about it the first couple of times I looked at it, but just now the thumbnail seemed a bit too dark to me. That said, I love the rich color. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Nancy, I'm trying to catch up. This is beautiful. I'd like to see a slightly version also but I'm not sure I'd like it any better than this.

Thank you all! Michael, brighter is a good suggestion, I'll try it.
