Lovely composition, nice low shooting angle. Love the lose, feather details and wet sandy foreground.

Your lowering efforts paid off beautifully, Derek. Would love to see these beautiful birds in person one day. Nice eye contact, great light and detail.

    This is lovely.
Great clean sand, nice view of the feet, love the mounds and the color palette.
Excellent POV ( I couldn't live without my skimmer pod and the ability to do the crab crawl when photographing shorebirds) and excellent IQ.
Nice light , good exposure and nice comp.
    No nits from me,
    Gail

A stunner Derek! Perfect POV and really like the FG (well, and BG too!) Boogie board worked well!

I saw the is the other day but didm't get round to commenting. Glad I stumbled across it again, as it is more than just a nice low POV plover shot, the lines in the ground make it something special. I bet it looks great in print

Dreamy super cool substrate!! The light quality is really nice and I think you nailed the technical aspects. I like the spacing between the legs and the body angled slighty towards the viewer. I also enjoy where you placed the subject in the frame and the overall composition.
