Default Moss Monster in Hoh Rain Forest

It didn't take too much "playing" to make this stump into Moss Monster as it already had one dark "eye and nose" so I added the other eye and embellished the nose a bit! Then I used Topaz Impression on it with the stump masked quite a bit to show the curly moss and eyes.

The reason I have been absent for a few weeks is because we drove to no. MO and bought a used 2006 Fleetwood 39 ft diesel motorhome!! We've been looking for one off and on for years and finally found one we liked that's in good condition etc. We plan on doing a lot of traveling and making photos, of course.

Fabulous! I love that monster! The topaz impression adds just the right amt of swirling motion to all the greens making one think the monster just parted the vegetation and rose up to look around! Have a great time with your motor home. Should be a great way to travel and not have to live out of suitcases.

Thanks Nancy, I'm happy that you like him! It was the "creature" aspect of the stump that prompted me to photograph it.

I'm sure we will enjoy the motorhome, just have a few things to take care of and a LOT of reading and learning before we go on a long trip we have planned to Tampa.

Great job with the photo. It looks to me as if the little monster was already there for you to photograph. You did nice work.
Wow! A motor home! Sounds like a great way to travel.
