    Tripod Canon 1DX Canon 500mmf4 Auto ISO 500 +2/3 1/3200 sec f4
    Had a little light this afternoon so I went to my local pond to try my luck. This is a juvenile swallow. It's hard work with the 500mm it doesn't focus quickly enough, I am going to try again with the 100-400 and just hope I can get them in focus when a tad closer, also I can dispense with the tripod. All C&C welcome

    Try when the wind is strong, it slows them down. Nice capture, Jon.

    A too close crop would not give him enough fly room. good here.
