This is the female black Rhino from my earlier image looking at us as we slowly approached her in a safari vehicle in a private nature reserve. Again he slow SS worked thanks to the IS and some steady shooting. Next time on, will push up ISO or use a 2.8 lens. But all said, the new 100-400 II is really a nice lens!

Hi Sanjeev -- A very tough lighting situation you must have encountered here . You managed nicely with the available shutter speed . What amazing experience it must have been to sight these magnificent creatures . i find the BG painting like because of i guess heavy NR nonetheless you have got a nice head on view . TFS !

Hi Haseeb. Thanks. I just applied one round of NR to the BG. It could be that the 100-400 II does not give a bokeh as good as a prime.

That was a pretty good shot at 1/50! Light was the the premium, but you did well. I find the image a bit tight all around. Do you have more room? Loi

Hi Sanjeev - I think you did well given the settings, available light and habitat. Great that she looked up at you, so often rhinos are just grazing. Comp works fine for me.

Hi Sanjeev , another technically well executed image with the given techs in mind .
The rhino did give you a nice pose and look to the camera . I really love the colors you produced in post .
I might burn the lights in the rhino a bit for more tonal depth , just my thoughts .

    TFS Andreas
