    Eastern Peewee captured at Crane Creek OH. Shoulder stock mounted Nikon D200, 80-400mm VR, f8, 1/160sec, ISO 400 exp. comp. +.67, fill flash - 2. The top of his head is a little soft, maybe he was raising the feathers during the shot? PP in Cs3, Quick masked out a few bright areas in the BG, sharpened with Nik.

    very nice Doug, these little guys have a great tune! I think it is a pe-wee., beautiful bg, and nice use of the flash.

    Nice eye contact and good-looking specimen. It is a bit tight in the frame for my taste, the bird looks oversharpened and having the sun behind you, would have made it even better. The soft head could be a DOF issue.

    I like the bird alot. I might be tempted to desaturate the BG a bit.
