Not sure about this one, since I'm usually not fond of oof birds in the bg. But I felt that the synchronized running poses of the two Semipalmated Plovers added some interest.

They really are synced aren't they! It definitely gives a unique feel to the image, I like it.

Nice shot, Bill Love the raised foot and the synchrony. The OOF bird in the background work this time.

Nice poses. Sweet light too. I enjoy how well the worn plumage of the adult in the fg shows. Crop work looks about perfect for the subject matter. Any chance you shot at a lower angle than this just to compare what that might or might not have done for the aesthetics of the surroundings?

I like it. Wouldn't hang it on my wall, but I'd sure keep it for interest and because it's something different from the norm.

I like it, too, Bill. The synchronisation gives a special edge and an extra smile!

Off to the races!! The image works for me. They are spaced apart just right, and the oof bird is easily identifiable. Pretty neat!

I'm always looking forward to seeing your shots Bill, and you never disappoint! Well done on getting a sharp shot at this F/L!

Nice feather detail and I love the light reflecting from the legs & bill! Nice shot!

Think this image works extremely well, Bill. Like the raised foot, and beautiful light.

Thanks everyone. Your comments are appreciated. Shawn, see my two previous posts for images with lower POV on this beach, albeit different species.

Well done Bill. I like the spacing of the birds and as mentioned, the fact we can ID the OOF one too.
I like it myself as presented.
    Well done, great idea!
