    Default The Red Cone....

Always looking for a different BG, this is a construction cone reflection from some construction work around the pond....
As an aside, spending time shooting in low light (which is most of the time, where the birds are where I live), at high iso is the best thing a photographer can do, IMO,
It really makes one focus on proper exposure as there is not much room for error...

nice Dan, I like the low angle. I might reduce the contrast a bit, the red stuff in the BG and its reflection are a bit distracting

I'm actually liking that red in the water. Good low angle, details. The drakes up here are starting to look spiffy again, at least some of them.

I love the colors, but honestly, instead of focusing on the beautiful duck my brain seems to want to drift to the bright orange of the cone instead of on the main subject. Perhaps tone down the orange ?

Hi Dan, I can see the appeal of the red cone reflection. It makes the iage different, but like Grace said, perhaps tone down the brightness. The image is incredibly sharp and love the colors of the duck. Loi

    Hey Dan,
Agree with your thoughts on low light shooting and high ISO. Bingo!

Love the POV and the colours, the OOF cone is not something I am keen on though.
Just a personal preference of course.
    Keep 'em coming mate!
