    Long time and no posting on here. Here is one that I never posted from my stock archives from Mexico. I know that back lighting is frowned upon, especially rather mundane ones like this, but I like the rather dreamy mirage like effect that it gives. He is actually cleaning his neck, that is why (it is hard to see) there is a gap in the end of his beak.

    I like it... A case where maybe even less DOF in front would have been better, the horizon is nice...

    Like you said, it looks a bit dreamy. Good description.
    I like the pose, though slightly more angled toward you would've been ideal.
    The BG to FG ratio is good.
