    Basic editing. Originally overexposed. Brightness adjusted first in DPP and then in CS.
    Cropped for composition. NR applied to BG. Part of leaves from perch and around the butterfly are removed from the BG.


    ISO: 800, 1/640 @13.0. Spot metering. Manual settings.
    550D, 100-400 mm.

    Satish you have the butterfly spot on. I think you have been careful not to blow the highlights but I would suggest at the expense of the rest of the image. I would try doing two conversions, one as is and another making the image brighter then layer them and make the background a little lighter along with the flowers leaving the butterfly as you are currently presenting it.
    Alternatively if you are using ACR you can use adjustment brushes in a single conversion.

    Much better! A very appealing image. There is a much better light balance now
