About the last one - I promise !
My mate and I hand pulled about 50 square yards of bullrush to get this small area of mud. Well worth it in the end though.

    John:

Very good light, sharp, well exposed, interesting habitat.

The lines in the bg make me think he is falling forward, but just an optical illusion.

I have rather mixed feelings about the leaves, esp the one right over the back. Might try a version with that one removed.

It least there was no reflection in this to worry about

    Cheers

    Hi Randy
Had a play but had to add canvas because of rotation.

Thanks Karl. When ever its a Snipe coming that bit nearer and nearer I start to tremble a bit ! One of my favourite birds- a relic of childhood nesting days I reckon.
    Thanks again !

I'd be happy to not worry about the digital chainsaw for tidying up too much.
The surrounds is what it is IMHO.
Very good shot mate. Love the light and the environment showing.
    Thanks for sharing.
